Registered Nurse at St. Luke's Medical Center-Global (2009-2010)
Registered Nurse at St. Luke's Medical Center-Quezon City (2010-2012)
I have been with YRA for five years now. Before joining YRA, I was an Operating Room/Delivery Room Nurse in one of the prestigious hospitals in the Philippines. When I gave birth to my firstborn, I decided to become a full-time Mom to focus on my family. As the years went on, I missed having the financial freedom I had before but was torn between helping in increasing our family's income versus leaving my kids for work. Being a nurse, I know how hectic our schedules can be - the long working hours, the nights, weekends and special holidays not spent with your loved ones because of your shifts; and every time I think of being away from my kids, it breaks my heart. Then a former colleague introduced me to YRA, and it provided me a solution to my problems above.
With YRA, I was able to help increase our family's income with its competitive rates, way higher than a nurse's salary here in our country - without leaving the comforts of my own home. I never have to wrestle my way in and out of the crammed MRTs, or waste precious hours being stuck in traffic. Even if I'm working from home, I never feel alone because our team leaders are always there to answer our questions and guide us in providing excellent services to our clients. The YRA family also never misses the chance to show you how much they appreciate you and your work through numerous performance bonuses, therefore I never felt that my efforts are taken lightly.
I am happy that I am a part of this family and hope that many more would be able to discover YRA and how it can help them achieve their goals without compromising family time. All you need is a laptop, a decent internet connection and willingness to try and learn new things. YRA offers a career path as well, and I recently was promoted and am taking on more responsibilities within the organization.
Staff Nurse at The Medical City Lipa Clinic (2015-2016)
Health and Wellness Coach at The Farm at San Benito (2011-2013)
I have been with YRA for four years now. I used to work as a Health and Wellness Manager in one of the top Medical Wellness resort in the world and I did not regret joining the YRA family. They gave me the privilege to work from the comfort of my home with a competitive offer and the opportunity to spend more quality time with my family. I am truly contented working here at YRA because they provided me the training that I need to become an excellent virtual assistant to be able to secure a long-term client. The management, team leaders and my co VA's are very kind and accommodating. With the compensation, there have been no delays in payment and performance bonuses are given in recognition of our efforts. I could not ask for a better company to work for.
Service Ambassadress, Sofitel Philippine Plaza, (2006 - 2010)
Confidential Assistant II, Office of the Commissioner, Social Security System, (2010 - 2014)
My Virtual Assistant journey with YRA is one life-changing event that I will never forget. Before I joined YRA, I was a Service Ambassadress at a luxury hotel and a Confidential Assistant II for a Commissioner in a government office. I was a bit hesitant to join this field at first since I was doing well in my previous jobs. However, the daily commute of 4-5 hours was taking a toll on my family life and my personal being. I rarely am able to spend time with my kids, 6 and 1y/o at that time, and I was missing a lot of their milestones. Then, my husband got sick and needed to undergo a spine operation. I know, at this time, I needed to be there for my family. However, “just being there” is not enough. Bills were piling up and I know I had to find another way to have a source of income. Then a friend of mine introduced me to YRA. Luckily, I got hired and I have never been thankful enough.
YRA has provided me not only with a steady and generous income. They made sure that all my efforts are greatly appreciated through numerous performance bonuses. It has also given me the opportunity to skip the long commute, city pollution and dangers of travelling to and from the office. Moreover, I am able to spend more time with my family and ensure that I am able to watch my kids grow and be there for them as they achieve one milestone to another.
I have been happily working with my long-term clients for more than 4 years now, and I am looking forward to counting more years with my YRA family. The 4 years was a breeze as I always have my team leads to support and guide me to ensure that I am at my best all the time.
BUT it’s not all hard work with YRA. The management ensures that our overall well-being is also taken cared of. Team building activities, get-together lunch outs, Christmas parties and even Halloween contests are just a few perks of the job. This helps build the team’s camaraderie and makes you feel that you are indeed an important part of the family. A family that I am proud to be part of.
Staff Nurse at St. Luke's Medical Center-Global City (2009-2012)
Registered Nurse at Al Wakra Hospital – Hamad Medical Corporation in Doha, Qatar (2012-2016)
I'm proud to say that I celebrated my 5th year working for YRA. I came to work for this company without any knowledge on what a Remote/Virtual Assistant does but I immediately noticed the positive aura and the importance that the company places on its people. I truly enjoy coming to work in such a family, friendly atmosphere. There are the managers and team leaders who are all ready to give a helping hand to train you with all the tools you need for your job. I'm a nurse who worked in the clinical setting for 8 years but then chose to stay at home and be with my daughter. My job at YRA was really an answered prayer because who wouldn't love working in the comforts of your home. No stress on traffic going to work, fewer expenses on food and fare and above all, I'm able to take care of my daughter - earning without leaving.
