Contract Manager

Role Overview


The Contract Manager supports the Procurement function by managing the intake, review, processing, execution, and administration of low- to mid-value vendor contracts. This role ensures contracts move efficiently through review and signature workflows while maintaining compliance with company policies, legal standards, and internal controls.

 

The Contract Manager partners closely with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders to drive timely contract execution and operational excellence across the contracting lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

 

Contract Intake & Processing

 

  • Manage intake and processing of lower-dollar vendor agreements, amendments, renewals, and NDAs.
  • Review contracts for adherence to approved templates, playbooks, and standard terms.
  • Route agreements through internal review and approval workflows (Procurement, Legal, Security, Finance).
  • Ensure contracts are executed in accordance with delegation of authority and signature policies.

Contract Administration

 

  • Maintain contract records within contract lifecycle management (CLM) or repository systems.
  • Leverage AI tools for tracking contract data including term dates, renewal notices, termination rights, and financial obligations.
  • Support renewal tracking and proactive notification to category/sourcing leads through automation
  • Support purchase order processing in line with the final contract details.

Qualifications Required

 

  • 3–7+ years of experience in contract management, procurement operations, or related role.
  • General understanding of basic commercial contract terms (payment terms, indemnity, limitation of liability, etc.).
  • Experience routing agreements through internal review workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage high volume with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to work cross-functionally.
